Request for an amendment to the Unified Development Ordinance, Chapter 4. Use Standards, to allow sales and rentals of low-speed vehicles and golf carts subject to a zoning compliance permit.

Request for a conventional rezoning of 26.78 acres from Agriculture, General Business, and Single-Family Residential-Mainland Districts to Single-Family Residential Mainland and General Business Districts. The parcels are located in Grandy, Tax Map 94, Parcels 168, 161B, and 161C, Poplar Branch Township.

Request for an amendment to the Unified Development Ordinance, Chapter 1. General Standards, Chapter 2. Administration, Chapter 4. Use Standards, and Chapter 5. Development Standards, to require special use permits for certain developments in Corolla that include a traffic impact analysis and engineered stormwater design, and to establish additional community compatibility standards countywide.

The following amendments to the Rules of Procedure are presented for a vote to be held at the next regular board meeting:


Update the governing North Carolina General Statute to 160D-301 and update the maximum appointed successive terms to three terms.
