Brooks Hart (Chief of Lower Currituck) advised that portable radios are intermittently sounding off an alert at random times.  

Radio has been brought to Mary Beth Newns of Emergency Management and is being looked into by Mobile Communications.

Discussion was held regarding Lower Currituck Volunteer Fire Departments handling the purchase of their fire gear.

Chief Whitlow (Station 4) inquired about the status of ESO- Deputy Chief Lane provided update that ESO consultant will be reaching out to schedule training.

Volunteer Fire Station Chief reminder to reach out to Mary Beth prior to March FEAB meeting to schedule pick up of donated water and MRE's on the night of March FEAB meeting.

Fire Training Officer, Jason Sample shared the reason for the discoloration of the black turn-out gear.  He spoke with the distributor who advised the black gear goes back to its natural color when exposed to extreme heat and does not affect the gear.
